Please be informed of the following matters regarding our company name change from COSCO Container Lines Co., Ltd. to  COSCO Shipping Lines Co., Ltd. (“Our Company”).

1.    Our Company changed its official company name from COSCO Container Lines Co., Ltd. to COSCO SHIPPING Lines Co., Ltd. on November 18, 2016.

2.    The terms and conditions of any contracts entered into by Our Company will not be affected by the name change.  Any ongoing contracts, which are currently being performed by Cosco Container Lines Co., Ltd.  will continue to be performed under the name of COSCO SHIPPING Lines Co., Ltd..

3.    Our Company will issue bills of lading under the name of COSCO SHIPPING Lines Co., Ltd. starting from January 1, 2017.

Stoprequests for merchant customs clearance of transhipment containers in Rotterdam If consignees want to have containers customs cleared in Rotterdam they must inform – in addition to their clearing agent - the Cosco office or agent at the final port of destination. The Cosco office or agent at the final port of destination shall inform the transhipment department at Cosco Rotterdam not later than 3 working days before the expected time of arrival of the Cosco vessel.
